BAMS (Ayurvedacharya)

Ayurveda is considered to be the oldest healing science. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life.” Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.

” It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from accomplished masters to their disciples. Its first objective is to maintain the health and happiness while the next is to manage and restore the status of health and productive state of mind. It gives equal importance to our body, mind and soul; therefore works with holistic approach. The Under Graduate Programme of Ayurvedacharya (BAMS) is of 5½ Years duration (including one year internship).
