IIMT University is a research oriented State Private University of Uttar Pradesh established by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, India vide U.P.Act no.32 of 2016, with the legacy of group of colleges since 1995 which are now brought under the aegis of IIMT University since 2016 to meet the ever growing needs of higher and professional education.
IIMT-U objectives include turning into Enterprises, to increase the successful development of new businesses, job creation and employment in specific sectors that are aligned with a region's unique areas of opportunity.
We believe in serving the mission of the Government of creating Entrepreneurs, based on an action plan aimed at promoting guidance, training and financing for start-up ventures to boost entrepreneurship and encourage start-ups with jobs creation.
IIMT University has set up two Business Incubators, approved by Govt. of India, Ministry of MHRD, MSME for areas in which we have expertise available to guide the students.
Areas of B.I. are:
  • Projects on advanced technology in different fields of Engineering and Technology.
  • Projects which have immense social value.
  • Projects related to industrial applications.
  • Project related to human applications.
  • Projects related to innovation in Medical Sciences.
  • Projects related to Ayurvedic Medicines.
Our qualified and experienced faculties who have caliber to do research work of National/International level will be a tool to students to work on innovative projects.

Skill Development Programme: IIMT University is the training partner of National skill Development Corporation, New Delhi for conducting the sector skill development programmes.
Consultancy Services offered by IIMT University: The staff and students of the institute have been offering different consultancy services to the nearby industries and firms in the form of module and website designing, maintenance and RnD.
Pool of experts in various fields of engineering and technology and Medical Sciences at IIMT University which may serve as mentors as well as counselor. Faculties of different science and engineering departments have developed new products as well as technologies in their R&D work and students’ projects.
Established and well equipped departmental laboratories having facilities of all modern equipments of testing and testing manufacturing softwares (AUTOCAD, ANSYS, PROE, CATIA, STADDPRO, EMBEDDED SYSTEM, VLSI, MATLAB) related to the fields mechanical, civil, electronics, electrical and computer science engg. And libraries having online subscriptions of journals(springer)and connectivity with other libraries on global basis(DELNET).
IIMT-U is inclined towards R&D, Innovations & Entrepreneur Development, working towards it. It has established “R&D labs in Engineering as well as medical filed”.
IIMT-U has a “Start-up Cell”,” Entrepreneur Development Cell” & “Digital Initiative Cell” for the promotion of MHRD Schemes for higher education like SWAYAM, Virtual Labs, Spoken Tutorials, NPTEL, NAD & NDL.
IIMT-U publishes a globally indexed International Journal of Applied Science and Technology(IJAST) (ISSN:2277-8691)(www.ijast.online.webs.com) for publication of new ideas, the state of art of research results and fundamentals advances in all aspect of Applied Science and Technology. IJAST is an International Journals with a primary objective to provide the academic and industry for original research and applications related to Applied Science and Technology.
