Diploma in Hotel Management Catering & Technology

Diploma in Hotel Management Catering & Technology is one and a half year course. The curriculum of the course is based on the CBCS pattern and is split into semester system. School of Hotel Management Catering & Tourism, IIMT University aims to provide academic excellence through modern teaching methodologies and well equipped labs. This is a specialization course that covers the study of one major department in this tenure. During the first two semesters, the students undergo extensive classroom learning in the form of lectures, workshops, practicals, industrial visits and webinars. They are made aware of standard industry practices and are apprised with the skills and knowledge required to be at par with the modern prevailing trends in the hospitality sector. The program is structured in an organized format so as to cover all the major aspects of theoretical knowledge and practical experience.. Upon successful completion of the academics in the first two semesters, students undergo a mandatory 6 months industrial training in reputed hotel chains in their final semester.
