Golden Book of World Record “Largest Origami Boat Mosaic

The World Record of “Largest Origami Boat mosaic” has been achieved by IIMT University Meerut on March 20th 2017.
Golden Book of World Record has certified the IIMT University event ‘Smile goes a mile’ and provided a certificate of achievement on 20th March 2017. Record breaking numbers of Origami boats were arranged in mosaic illustrating ‘smiley’ with 1500 yellow and black paper boats during the celebration of International Happiness Day.

 

The paper boats have been used to mark a journey across life, a crossing adventure and exploration towards world happiness to cater peace, harmony and tranquility around the world.

 

 


 

Golden Book of World Record “Most people in a Reading Relay”

IIMT University Meerut has broken the World Record of ‘Most People in a Reading Relay’ by 3105 individuals of all religions. Golden Book of World Record has certified the IIMT University event ‘Adhyatam-Mass Recitation of Bhagwat Gita’ and provided a certificate of achievement on 15th February 2017.

 


 

 

GAU-SEVA KA ABHOOTPORVA AAYOJAN

One more feather is added in the cap of IIMT. A glorious grand event of Gau-Seva was organised in IIMT University, Meerut on 22nd April 2017. The event was dedicated to the service of Indian culture. It received such unexpected innumerable number of people including even small school children, students of various school and colleges from Meerut City and nearby place of Meerut City, a large gathering of IIMT Pariwar, citizens both young and old, social workers, NGOs that the event was recorded as a world record by Golden Book of World Record. Mr. Alok Kumar from Golden Book of World Record declared this record with participation of 11000 people in all. 101 cows were brought to the IIMT Campus which were garlanded and Roli Tilak was also applied on their forehead as the cow-pooja was performed by the preist at 07:30 A.M. on 22.04.2017. Whole of the atmosphere of IIMT University Campus was surcharged with the rainbow colours of secularism and service to the Indian culture. There was endless line of small children, men and women to serve our faster mother 'Gau' (The Cow).

 

As IIMT believes in pious deed of social service and to prevent Indian cultural values from brief extinct, IIMT thinks it social reponsibilty. To carry on this social responsibility this event of 'Gau-Seva' was organised. The only purpose of this event was to aware the society that cows have been an essential part of our culture and their services are services to God and society because cows are our multi-facet faster mothers so we should grow them, serve them and help to servive them.

 

Reputed persons from different strata of society, caste and cread communities and people from political field were present there, Shri. Zainur Rashiein(Nayab Shahar Kazi) along with Shri. Imran Siddiqi (Bhartiya Comi Ekta) registered their presence for this social service. Mr. Harikant Ahluwalia(Mayor of the City), Mr. Dinesh Khatik (MLA, Hastinapur), Mr. Satyavir Tyagi (MLA, Kithore), Mr. Somendra Tomar (MLA, Meerut South), Mr. Karunesh Nandan Garg (President, BJP Meerut City), Mr. Balraj Doonger (State co-ordinator Bajrang Dal), Mr. R.S.P.S. Baroonia (Gayatri Pariwar, Haridwar), Shri Ishwar Ji (Dharam Jagran Manch- a branch of RSS) were eminently present who gave nutrition to the cows. From schools & colleges other than IIMT whose students registered their presence in Gau-Seva were namely GTB, Dewan Public School, S.D. Sadar, St. John's Inter College, SD Lalkurti, Guru Nanak Inter College, DAV, Millenium,DPS, Gargi Public School, TAPS Ganag Nagar, SSM Ganga Nagar, SD Girls Inter college, Karan Public School, BAV Inter college, CVPS, Dashmesh Public School, Kisan Inter College, SSM Kankarkhera, Howard, Darshan Acedamy, Rishabh public school, IPS Ganga Nagar etc.. Approximately 4000 students of different schools participated in the event .

The whole event of Gau-Seva was solemnnized with the blessings and guidance of  sacred  saint Kalpatri Ji Maharaj who blessed not only us but the land of Meerut also coming here who often campaigns for religious and cultural values of India. We are overwhelmed with reverance from the core of our heart for such pious saint being amidst  us. It all had been possible with the tireless efforts and religiosity of Hon'ble Chancellor of IIMT University. The management committee of IIMT University, Pro -Chancellor Shri Abhinav Mohan Agarwal, Pro. Vice-chancellor Dr. Deepa Sharma,  all the Directors, Deputy Directors, Deans and Head of Departments with their faculty and staff members of different colleges graced the occasion. The event could have been converted into a great success due to voluntarily efforts and the team work of all IIMTians.
